This community offers residents an abundance of exciting amenities. Holiday Island is the perfect place to call home in Northern Arkansas. This outstanding community offers an attractive lifestyle for active adults and retirees with a zest for life. Residents appreciate the wide variety of homes offered within the community that range from secluded cabins to waterfront homes. This picturesque community will be comprised of 5,000 homes once fully built out. Residents are close to shopping, dining, and recreational opportunities. One other thing about the course, my female playing partner was a little upset the ladies’ tees were just struck randomly in the fairway, we’re uneven and were not mowed.Holiday Island is an active lifestyle community located in Northern Arkansas. And going up the path? Well you can imagine what it was like but we made it. Once you’re there though I have to admit it was a hoot hitting short iron shots with 8 second hang times before seeing the ball drop into a creek and stratified mountainside far below. But I have to admit the thing I will remember most about this course isn’t on the course at all …it’s the driving range! Whoever built this unique range is either a genius or totally mad! Just getting to the hitting area requires nerves of steel going down a narrow path (only partially paved) while listening to the golf cart brakes squeal the whole time. Pace of play for a mid-week round was excellent and the staff was friendly. Overall the course is a well-maintained, challenging track with small, firm greens that provide a good test once you get on the putting surface. Saw this course while heading to Eureka Springs for the day and decided to play it.
